Intro

Daniel Casas is a prominent director and audiovisual filmmaker based in Mexico City. From his early academic pursuits, he trained in Advertising at the Centro Universitario de Comunicación, where he specialized in Audiovisual Media. His pursuit of knowledge led him to the International Film and Television School in Cuba, where he participated in an Advanced Studies workshop focused on documentary filmmaking, thereby strengthening his narrative vision.

Throughout his career, Casas has collaborated with various national and international brands, including Fiat, Toyota, Dos Equis, Snickers, José Cuervo, and Tecate, among many others. His style is characterized by experimentation with multiple formats and daring editing, utilizing post-production techniques and transitions that challenge visual perception.

Passionate about Mexican cinema and literature, he has developed a thesis on the Mexican fantastic, exploring how this genre can be integrated into the everyday life of his country. This perspective enriches his work as an advertising professional and filmmaker, creating unique and resonant narratives.

Currently, Casas directs at the production company Central Films and is immersed in writing the script for his debut fiction feature film, promising to continue making his mark on the Mexican audiovisual landscape.
